I and some others are having some problems with the above link. I tried to open the file as a pdf, but that didn't work. The file I got didn't have an extension on it so I don't know what kind of file it is. Any tips on making it work? Thanks -unfinished
Be sure to open the document with open office or microsoft word. It is a .doc document, which means it has to be opened with something that recognizes that file type. Adobe acrobat only recognizes .pdf files. - mobius

happygirl -will explore some aspect of --Devil Worship in France--. Although the title has tons of sex appeal, this is actually AE Waite's debunking of -
[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Léo_Taxil|Leo Taxil]'s assault upon the freemasons. Waite provides evidence that Taxil's claims are untrue... Don't bother looking that stuff up, but I will have some better stuff up soon!

November 8 - Realityor's tour on http://www.sacred-texts.com/tao/sbe40/index.htm">chuang-tzu - (the link doesn't seem to be working no matter what I do. Go to sacredtexts, click on taoism, then click on volume 40). Read 3 of Books XVIII-XXIV.
Realityor, I think you're making a mistake with the linking mechanism. When you highlight text and clik the link button, the initial settings are to link to a wiki page, so you have to change it - where it says "link type" change it from "Wiki page" to "url". "Protocol" means the opening sequence of the address...generally going to be "http://". Then you paste the link and presto! chuang-tzu ! -Ceridwen
happygirl will present on the book of Ruth. http://www.sacred-texts.com/bib/kjv/rut.htm">King James Version (from Sacred-texts.org) http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ruth+1+;&version=47;">ESV (English Standard Version) (A more easily comprehendable version) Please skim it. Exploring the dreamtime tales of Australia's Eulayhi people. Browse the text, pick a favorite story/theme/anything. Tomorrow's discussion will touch on the role of Bahloo (the moon), and on the Aborigines' relationship with animals. One of my favorite stories is that of Dinewan the Emu, and Goomblegubbon the Bustard, which explains the completely ridiculous nature of one of my favorite Australian animals. However, feel free to browse through everything and see what you come up with. For further reading and some background on the Eulayhi, check out K. Langloh Parker's ethnography. - zee_deveel
