What would Burroughs have been like (as a person and a writer) if he hadn't been a junkie? And, considering I've never read Burroughs before this class (so sorry in advance if this is an incredibly stupid question), but does he ever write anything not concerning junk/not while on the influence of junk? Sorry if this post is a bit elementary/trivial...it's just what I have been thinking; I hate digging unnecessarily deep just to sound profound. Not that I even sound profound when I dig deep...but that's an issue for another post.
