my contribution to the zine is pretty conventional...well, according to burroughs' standards, which skew the boundaries of conventional to the other side of the ambergris-dripping rainbow. i used the cut-up method (surprise surprise) to merge/distort/combine/splice writings of mine, burroughs, and notes i took during class. i tried to be as "random" as possible, but i beleive the subconscious always has a plan. so i guess by surrendering control to this somewhat controlling subconscious, i'm blasting a hole through my habit-structured reality and diving into my inner world!! burroughs would be so proud. so far, my cut-up is pretty cool...at least i think so. but i'm open to suggestions!
